Calabasas CA sophomore Tierra Crockrell enjoyed a 49-point personal best on the first day of the junior women's heptathlon with 3,209 points at the USATF Junior Outdoor Championships at Hornet Stadium at Sacramento State. Crockrell had 3,160 points on the first day at the Arcadia Invitational, when she finished with 5,077 points, a California sophomore record and the fourth-highest all-time score by a high school 10th-grader.
