Kansas State freshman Ariel Okorie enjoyed a 79-point personal best on her first day of the women's junior heptathlon, placing second overall with 3,182 points at the USATF Junior Outdoor Championships at Hornet Stadium at Sacramento State. Okorie produced a personal-best 5,251 points May 12-13 at the Big 12 Championships, when she scored 3,103 on the first day of competition.
